Summer 2017 Thatching Projects
We have a pleasant array of projects this summer in Hastings, Kent and Paris. Thatching in water reed, long straw and combed wheat reed.
At the start of the year we completed our second barn conversion, this time thatching using the long straw method. Both barns were well over 170 feet in length and 30 feet in height. Both projects have been documented by drone technology and will appear on the website soon.
Padfield Master Thatchers Ltd will continue with these huge projects when needed as the popularity of big barn thatch is escalating.
